Directing

Christa most recently directed A.R. Gurney’s Later Life starring Thomas Jay Ryan, Carolyn McCormick, Kelly McAndrew, and Matthew Boston for Katonah Classic Stage where she is also an Artistic Associate and where she previously directed Noel Coward’s Private Lives, starring Brenda Withers and Trent Dawson. Both productions garnered her nominations for Best Director from BroadwayWorld (Rockland/Westchester). The Off-Broadway production of C.S. Lewis’ The Great Divorce that Christa directed completed a 28 city National Tour in 2022. She also directed the Off-Broadway revival of Robert Bolt’s A Man for All Seasons, starring Michael Countryman and Carolyn McCormick, and the first New York revival of William Nicholson’s Shadowlands, starring Daniel Gerroll. Since 2020, Christa has directed multiple filmed virtual theatre productions which have collectively received over 150,000 views in all 50 states and dozens of countries. She has directed staged readings for Irish Repertory Theatre, Urban Stages, FPA, PlayGround NY, and Actors Circle Ensemble, among others.
