Christa’s directing projects include the Off-Broadway production of C.S. Lewis’ The Great Divorce, followed by a National Tour; the Off-Broadway revival of Robert Bolt’s A Man for All Seasons, starring Michael Countryman and Carolyn McCormick; and the first New York revival of William Nicholson’s Shadowlands, starring Daniel Gerroll and Robin Abramson.
During COVID, Christa has directed multiple online productions and readings which have collectively received over 200,000 views. She most recently directed a 2021 virtual version of Shadowlands. The New Yorker said of the stage production: “A thoughtful and satisfying revival…Under Christa Scott-Reed’s direction, the exceptional cast catches every nuance of this fine play.”
